Her new collection of canvases features intense and dramatic panoramas — her response to the vast, open Texas landscape with its ever-present horizon and constantly changing skies. Jessup conveys the grandeur and drama of that sky, with its capricious cloud formations and dazzling light, against the dark subtlety of the spare stretched earth below.
